Patient Care and Services

Patient Care and Services

By combining the two leading orthopaedic groups in southeastern North Carolina, OrthoWilmington is able to provide patients with greater access to more physicians, in more sub-specialties, in more locations across the region.

Our patients also benefit from enhanced services and technologies, as well as seamless collaboration among our 23 board-certified physicians and our extensive team of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, technicians and support staff—all specialty-trained in orthopaedics.

OrthoWilmington offers the full scope of orthopaedic subspecialties, including:

In addition to surgical specialties, our physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians offer non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

Comprehensive Services

OrthoWilmington offers physical and occupational therapy in four of our five locations, and our Shipyard Boulevard facility has an ACR-accredited MRI for on-site advanced imaging. Orthopaedic urgent care is available at our Ashton Drive location through AccessOrtho, a walk-in medical clinic that enables patients to be diagnosed and treated immediately, saving the expense and hassle of an emergency room visit.

OrthoWilmington remains dedicated to using progressive technologies, from sophisticated diagnostic tools to improved electronic communications for patients and physicians, including a convenient patient portal. With this convenient online access, patients can communicate with our clinical staff, make appointment requests, receive test and lab results, request prescription renewals, and pay their bills.
