We currently have an excellent opportunity for a full time BC/BE physiatrist to join our practice.

The ideal candidate will be a Non-Interventional Physiatrist, interested in a traditional PM&R practice, including electrodiagnostics, procedures, evaluation and management, and office patient care.

Qualified candidates will possess a strong PM&R background, and are trained to care for orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal pain.

Qualified candidates will possess a background in spine and/ or sports medicine, and are trained to care for orthopaedic conditions and musculoskeletal pain. Previous surgery experience is required.

Position will involve working in the clinic as well as assisting in the operating room, partnering with our surgeons to optimize surgical outcomes and to deliver excellent patient care.

Career Opening for Director of Finance

OrthoWilmington, PA, a regional orthopaedic center in southeast North Carolina, is seeking a Director of Finance. This position is responsible for organizing and maintaining financial accounting systems, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, cash disbursements, financial forecasting, financial statements and assisting with tax preparation for this busy eighteen physician practice. This position is located in Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develops and plans department objectives with CEO in budgeting, profit analysis and accounting systems.
• Supervises all general accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable functions and payroll. Prepares monthly budget, financial statements, monthly variance analysis, and quarterly financial reviews.
• Oversees Bookkeeper for vendor invoice processing.
• Oversees cash management functions and directs and monitors internal financial control programs for appropriate segregation of duties.
• Analyzes expenditures, develops financing strategies and evaluates financial impact of capital/major purchase decisions.
• Works closely with outside accounting firm regarding annual tax filings.
• Formulates financial planning activities including annual operating budget preparation.
• Administers physician compensation plan including quarterly salary review, bonus distribution and annual salary budget.
• Performs statistical analysis and reporting including operating and medical management statistics.
• Oversees administration of employee 401k program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, preferred.
• Combined financial/accounting professional experience of over seven years.
• Minimum of three years financial management experience in a medical group setting, preferred.
• Possesses an understanding of financial reporting as related to revenue cycle operations, budgets, and cash flow.

Specific Skills:

• Strength in preparing and analyzing financial data, relating organizational objectives to financial policies, and identifying and resolving accounting and financial problems.
• Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
• Basic knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
• Ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments, managers and employees to improve process efficiencies in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and duties simultaneously and in an organized manner while adhering to deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Great Plains Dynamics experience, preferred.
