OrthoWilmington, the region’s most comprehensive center for orthopaedic care, has an excellent opportunity for a part-time or full-time Physician Assistant to work with one of our leading sports medicine specialists in our Jacksonville, NC office.
We offer patients a complete range of orthopaedic services, specialties and technologies unmatched in the region. OrthoWilmington’s medical team includes 18 board certified and/or fellowship trained specialists working with18 mid-level providers across 5 office locations to help our patients to move better and live better.
Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years’ experience in orthopaedics. Position will involve working in the clinic of a satellite office diagnosing and treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Excellent assessment skills and a strong work ethic required. Applicants must be eligible for certification or be certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician’s Assistants and licensed by the State Board of Medicine in North Carolina. Membership in Association of Physician’s Assistant Programs is desirable.

This full-time position is responsible for performing all accounting functions under the supervision of the Financial Manager to include accounts payable, general ledger, cash management, and general admin support. This position will also assist with preparation of financial and statistical reporting. This is not an entry level position.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of three years prior professional experience in a bookkeeping role to include: general ledger, accounts payable and cash management. In addition, the preferred candidate will have advanced working knowledge in the following computer software: Great Plains and Microsoft Excel; as well as some advanced coursework in accounting/finance. Candidates must have the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and complete tasks under stress with frequent interruptions.
